Yulier Diamond Designs are
hand engraving and finishing
techniques in Thailand from
highly skilled workers, many of
them master jewelers with over
ten years experience, and some
with over 20 years. Our
craftsmen’s must have the skills
to do the delicate work which
can really only be found in the
antique jewelry during the Art
Deco and Edwardian, periods from
about 1890 to 1940.
El
Conde manufactures, which is our
main source that produce our
fine jewelry, produce only small
quantities. Every piece goes
through a rigorous quality
control system at every step to
make sure the customer gets a
piece of jewelry that will last
a lifetime and they can pass on
to the next generation. Some
pieces can take up to 40 hours
just to cut and set the color
stones which end up looking like
stained glass windows of
precious stones.
The
Yulier Diamond designer moved to
Thailand about six years ago. He
is a second generation jeweler
with a background in antique
jewelry and signed jewelry,
recreating the quality,
techniques, and designs from the
best handmade jewelry that he
had seen over the years. As a
buyer of fine antique pieces for
many years, traveling throughout
the world, I was able to get a
broad sense of fashion and
jewelry.
Thailand has a long history of
extraordinary jewelry making,
particularly the jewelry made
for the Royal family, which is
highly revered, loved, and
respected by the Thai people.
These skills have been passed on
for generations and make an easy
transition into Western or
European jewelry such as Art
Deco and Edwardian.
